Chicken, Carrot, and Nut Puree (4-6 Months)

Starting solids with your baby is such an exciting milestone! This Chicken, Carrot, and Nut Puree is a great way to introduce your little one to the taste of chicken, packed with nutrients to keep them full and happy. It’s simple, wholesome, and perfect for babies aged 4-6 months.

Ingredients:


  • 10 oz (300g) chicken breast

  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced

  • ¼ cup ground nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews, or pine nuts all work well)


Instructions for Making Chicken, Carrot, and Nut Puree:


  1. Cook the Chicken and Carrots: In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the chicken breast and sliced carrots. Let them cook for about 10-15 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the carrots are tender.


  2. Blend the Ingredients: Transfer the cooked chicken, carrots, and ground nuts into a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth, adding a little water if needed to reach the desired consistency.


  3. Serve and Enjoy: Allow the puree to cool before serving it to your baby. This recipe makes enough to store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days or freeze for later use.
