Finished Chicken Patties, golden brown and ready to serve, arranged on a plate.

Ingredients:

  • 18 oz (500g) ground chicken breast

  • ½ cup chopped parsley

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons plain breadcrumbs

  • 1 medium potato, grated

  • 1 medium onion, grated

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • Pepper to taste

  • Oil for frying

Instructions for Making Chicken Patties for Babies:

  1. Mix the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped parsley, egg, breadcrumbs, grated potato, grated onion, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until it’s well combined.

  2. Shape the Patties: Take a small handful of the mixture and shape it into small patties that are easy for little hands to hold.

  3. Cook the Patties: Heat about half an inch of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties until they’re golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 7 minutes per side.

  4. Serve and Enjoy: Let the patties cool slightly before serving them to your baby. You can freeze the leftovers for up to a month – just reheat when needed!

These Chicken Patties are not only delicious but also versatile. They’re perfect for baby-led weaning or as a finger food for toddlers. Plus, they’re great for the whole family!
