This Egg and Tomato Guacamole is packed with healthy fats, protein, and essential vitamins—everything your baby needs to support a growing immune system. Perfect for babies aged 4-6 months, this simple recipe is also ideal for parents mindful of food allergies and nutrition.

A bowl of freshly prepared Egg and Tomato Guacamole, ready to serve to a baby as a nutritious meal.

Ingredients:

  • ½ ripe avocado

  • 1 cooked and peeled tomato

  • ½ hard-boiled egg

  • ½ teaspoon olive or sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions for Making Egg and Tomato Guacamole:

  1. Mash the Avocado and Egg: In a small bowl, mash the ripe avocado until smooth. Add the hard-boiled egg and continue mashing until fully blended. This combination is rich in healthy fats and protein, essential for your baby’s diet and immune system development.

  2. Mix in the Tomato: Chop the cooked and peeled tomato into small pieces and stir it into the avocado and egg mixture. Tomatoes are a great source of vitamins and help diversify your baby’s nutrition.

  3. Add Oil and Lemon Juice: Add the olive or sesame oil along with the lemon juice to the mix. Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined. These additions not only enhance flavor but also provide additional nutrients.

  4. Serve and Enjoy: Your Egg and Tomato Guacamole is ready to serve! Make sure it's cooled to a safe temperature before offering it to your baby. Always watch for any potential food allergy signs, especially if this is your baby's first time trying these ingredients.

This Egg and Tomato Guacamole is more than just a tasty treat—it's a powerhouse of nutrients designed to support your baby's growth and immune system. As you introduce new foods, keep an eye out for any allergy signs and consult with a registered dietitian if you have any concerns.
