Creamy Mashed Potatoes for Babies (4-6 Months)

Ingredients:


  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 tablespoon yogurt or sour cream

  • ¼ teaspoon salt



Instructions for Making Mashed Potatoes for Babies:


  1. Boil the Potatoes: Start by boiling the cubed potatoes in water until they are soft and tender. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes.


  2. Mash the Potatoes: Once the potatoes are cooked, drain the water and mash them until smooth. You can use a potato masher or a fork for this.


  3. Mix in the Goodness: Add the butter, yogurt or sour cream, and a pinch of salt to the mashed potatoes. Mix everything together until well combined and creamy.


Tip: You can easily substitute sweet potatoes for regular potatoes if you want to introduce a different flavor to your baby’s diet.
